10 random facts about.....

me! i just wanted to share some random facts about me. just so you guys can get to know me a little better.

1. i mentioned this before but i thought i would share this again ready i'm a twin. (some people get to know me and then feel offended that i didn't tell them this little fact about me)

2. i love detective /cop shows right now i'm obsessed with NCIS and law and order: svu (discloser usa marathons are a very dangerous thing you lose your whole day. thanks usa)

3. i got bert the farting hippo for christmas and its the best gift i have ever gotten (bert is abby from ncis hippo and i love him)

4. i have a huge crush on timothy hutton (i can't explain it i just do)

5. i collect raggedy ann and andys
6. my favorite color to wear is black not because black is slimming i just like the way i feel in it.

7. i love going to church it's my favorite thing to do

8. i read alot and when i mean alot i mean like two or three books at a time.

9. i have changed my major once and added and dropped a minor (i changed to something i love and could see myself doing anything else)

10. i am the worst dancer ever yeah i can only do the robot, running man, but i'm a genuis and the sprinkler.

haven't you heard.....

haven't you heard new year new classes. i started back at school this week, i'm so excited! i have ceramics and its getting better i'm making a whistle (and it works!) once i'm done with it i will show you guys. i'm also taking a weaving and fibers class that i'm so stoked to be taking. were gonna learn knitting (which i already know how to do that) weaving on a loom (i'm super excited to learn), and to embroider so needless to say i can't wait. i have a few other classes i'm taking just to fill out my requirements, but those are the ones i'm excited about most! 

the first weaving and fibers class we had was just a lets get to know each other a bit better, and a why did you want to take this class? so i got to know some of the other students and not to mention my sister is also taking these two classes with me. (yay!) then the teacher had a presentation and she gave us a list of names and i just freaked out when i saw that jenny heart was on that list. totally made my day because i love sublime stitching.i look a her patterns and always want to get some but i don't know how to embroider.(i let my sister do that....for now lol) so here's to learning new things!

the first time i saw her was on gossip girl. she was the cute blonde with an accent who saved chuck and i quickly loved her. Her style on the show as so amazing, mature but whimsical it was kinda a bummer that she left the show. then i went grocery shopping and there she was on the cover of foam magazine. she is super cute and i love her personal style and i love the photo shoots she does too.

 had tons of fun just taking pictures yesterday. i love photography so much i want to have more fun photoshoots! I'm already thinking of ideas to shoot! just a warning this post is image heavy so enjoy!

to day was the perfect day!

woke up did yoga, made an art journal page, and had a photo shoot for new blog buttons mine are on the right side add one to your blog if you like (and yes i did model one after patti smith's horses cd cover) i also made some for my sister. in other news it keeps snowing here on and off big fluffy snow flakes it makes me feel like i'm in a snow globe. its so magical and pretty it makes me want to snuggle up with a blanket and my kindle to watch the snow fall. so i'm off to plan my saturday i have lots i want to do and not enough time to do it. heres to time management!

how to hair do

pin curls

this works better with wet hair so try this when your done showering or just wet your hair with a spray bottle.

materials:

- bobbie pins

- spray bottle (if you need it)

- scarf (to wrap it up to go to bed to keep the pins in place)

- comb (to part sections)

step one- wet your hair of if you just got out of the show just towel dry to get most of the moisture out. we want it wet not dripping.

step two- gather a section of hair and inch wide and use your pointer fingers and thumb to hold the ends of your hair.

step three- roll your hair from your ends to the crown.

step four- secure your curl with a bobbie pin

 step five- repeat steps two though four untill you curl all your hair

step six- you can dry the curls with a hair dryer or just let them air dry once dry you can let all the pins go and volla! pin curls

all roads lead to pittsburgh

on thursday we loaded up the car and took a trip over to pittsburgh to the andy warhol museum. they had the marilyn Monroe exhibit photographs, paintings of other artists, and of course the screen prints that andy did of marilyn.

the museum was huge it has seven floors and a little tip you want to start seeing the galleries from the seventh floor and work your way down. something we didn't know oops.

if you ever have a chance to make it to pennsylvania i suggest going to this museum. its full of color and amazing work.
