the new year

so far my new year had been great! on the first we went to the ikea store to pick up some desks. which was my christmas gift. I was so excited. I got a nice little white desk with a few drawers. After that we went shopping! The only thing I bought was the other starbucks christmas gift card that i didn't have. (yes  I have started collecting them again.) I looked a clothes but nothing I couldn't live with out. I also think that not having everything in my closet app, as well as not having my closet clean didn't allow myself to buy something new until I got those two goals done.

on the second my sister and I played dance central. it was pretty fun and definitely a work out! we spent the day with leane one of my best friends who was home for the holidays (you might remember her from here.) it was nice to talk to her again. I miss her so much when she's gone. on the plus side I can go visit her in San Francisco and have my own personal tour guide :) after spending the day with leane my sister and i went to the hair salon and I made an appointment to get my hair dyed. I think its time for a change. hey after all it's a new year its time for a new me :)

finally almost done

this semester is almost over and i'm so glad. every year i feel like i have great intentions for all my projects, i was going to get my organization act together, and i was going to plan out my time effectively, and every year i start out great but by the end of it i get so overwhelmed and feel so beat up i cant wait for it to be over. this semester was a tough one with me not being happy and almost quitting (i came to my senses and stuck it out thank God so much happier now) but it was hard getting though some days. soon its going to be over and i'm so happy i need this break! i plan to start an inspiration board on pintrest for my jewelry, i need to have them photographed, and i want to just get back to making art just because.....not for a class, no deadline just to make it fun again.  maybe this will spark something great! i cant wait.

fun friday!

had a bad day and a great day yesterday. It started with me being sick, then i got to the printing studio and my ink was drying way too fast. had lunch and my friend had the worst attitude ever. but then even though it was crowed we found a parking spot near where we need to go. but when we went to leave the car was dead. my friend left the lights on and didn't tell my sister so the lights were left on. but we have good friends and were very lucky some guy had jumper cables. got home and left right away for an awesome girls night out! we had dinner and then went to the craft store! my favorite so it was a so so day. now its a new one and I'm ready to paint it with colors!
now back to business what I'm loving this week.
