Beauty resolutions

New Years is here! And this year I have a few beauty resolutions!

This year I plan to.....

Take better care of my skin. I way to often don't wash my face after a day full of make up and daily toxins. I know this is a no no. I will also moisturize my skin more. Hydrating your skin is the best thing you can do. It makes your make up smooth.

Perfect the cat eye and all it's variations. I love the cat eye look but never had the right liner to make it. I just got a NARS liner that I love and i'm looking forward to perfecting this look!



have a spa day once a month! It's nice to feel girly for once and it lets you relax and not stress out. I plan on trying out all of the DIY masks, scrubs, and hair treatments i have pinned on pintrest this year and this goal will help me accomplish it.

i think it's safe to say.....

That i need a little pick me up in the make up department. though i do wear bright red lipstick and dark purple lipstick i need to perk up my eye makeup and i think i will do that tomorrow with blue eye shadow and i know, i know what you guys are thinking you'll end up like mimi in the dew carry show! and you what i say to that pish posh that's hog wash you just have to do it right. like in these pictures.(sorry for the rhyme i made some dr. seuss inspired vases today)

fashion obsessions: red lips

i told you guys today was a magical day! my friend Heidi had her baby today! I'm so excited! he's so cute! ok now back to my normal post. completely obsessed with red lips. i love them they make me look older! i know i know no one wants to look older but when your 19 and they mistake you for 12 yeah anything helps.
